MARILYN MANSON To Direct 'mOBSCENE' Video
February 21, 2003MARILYN MANSON will direct the video to "mOBSCENE", the first single from the group's upcoming "The Golden Age of Grotesque" CD. The clip will feature "a giant Victrola, painting an elephant black, [and] setting pianos on fire," the singer told Rolling Stone.
MANSON will spend much of the summer promoting "…Grotesque" on the road alongside OZZY OSBOURNE, KORN and DISTURBED on Ozzfest. Before that, he's putting together a ten-date trek that will feature events called "Grotesque Burlesque".
"It'll be a chance for people to get a taste of what I'm about," he said. "I'm gonna pick these venues that people can come to, and they're gonna see things that they're not supposed to see. They're gonna see art, they're gonna see naked women, they're gonna see music. It's going to be decadent and entertaining and I like that."
"The Golden Age of Grotesque" is due on May 13 through Nothing/Interscope Records.
